Pharmacy Manager at HCAI Pharmacy
I’m proud to be managing HCAI Pharmacy since it first opened in May 2021. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Psychology and Chemistry from Rhode Island College (2003), my Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of Connecticut (2013), and finally my Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Connecticut (2015). I have 20 years of unique experience in the medical field, including academic research at Brown University's Medical School, pharmaceutical sales at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and retail pharmacy clinical practices and management.
Outside of HCAI and our pharmacy, I’m passionate about educating the public and medical community on the pharmacist's role in comprehensive patient care. I serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Connecticut's School of Pharmacy and as a preceptor for student pharmacists completing introductory and advanced pharmacy practice rotations. In the community at large, I’ve been actively involved in providing access to immunizations, medication therapy management services, and disease state consultations.
